FFKM (Perfluoroelastomer) O-rings are premium elastic sealing components manufactured from fully fluorinated polymer backbone. Combining the exceptional chemical inertness of PTFE and the resilient elasticity of rubber, FFKM represents the highest-grade elastomer sealing material available for extreme operating environments. FFKM O-rings deliver outstanding comprehensive performance. Featuring nearly universal chemical resistance, they withstand more than 1,800 kinds of corrosive media including strong acids, alkalis, amines, solvents, oxidizing gases, hydrocarbons, steam and high-pressure hot water. The material maintains stable sealing performance within a wide temperature range from -40°C up to 327°C. It exhibits low compression set, excellent elastic recovery, low gas permeability, ultra-low outgassing and particle generation. Compliant with strict purity standards, selected grades satisfy FDA, USP Class VI and cleanroom requirements. Suitable for both static flange sealing and dynamic rotary/reciprocating sealing.
Compared with conventional FKM fluoroelastomer, FFKM avoids degradation and swelling under harsh aggressive conditions where ordinary fluororubber fails. It effectively minimizes unplanned shutdowns, reduces maintenance frequency and extends service life of critical equipment.
